Lions

Lions face many threats when they come into contact with humans. They are poisoned, snared for bushmeat and illegally hunted along with other large carnivores like leopards, hyenas and wild dogs.
The Niassa Carnivore Project in Mozambique’s Niassa National Reserve works to help 1000 lions live in harmony with the people from 44 villages inside the reserve.

At animalltea, we help fund Niassa's work with anti-poaching rangers, education and community development.
