Chimpanzees

 

“Rescue, rehabilitate and release” is the mission of Lwiro Primates Rehalilitation Centre in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Lwiro gives sanctuary to orphaned chimps and other primates whose parents have been killed by poachers. Chimps at Lwiro learn how to laugh and play again before joining new family groups and returning to the wild.  

At animalltea, our funds help Lwiro with food, veterinary care, capacity building and community support.
